I. WelcomeThis is a featured page

In this section I’ve tried to create a mindset that makes it fun and desirable to get involved.

Archimedes said,

“Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world.”

The Internet is a lever long enough. Our problems are vast, but this weapon is gargantuan.

Douglas Noel Adams saw this when he said,

"A computer terminal is not some clunky old television with a typewriter in front of it. It is an interface where the mind and body can connect with the universe and move bits of it about."

When the printing press came on the scene over 500 years ago it moved people one step closer to the truth; the result was revolution. Today, the Internet moves people two steps closer to the truth; the result again will not be short of revolution.

"The Web [Internet], as it stands today, has allowed global interpersonal exchange on a scale unprecedented in human history. People separated by vast distances, or even large amounts of time, can use the Web to exchange — or even mutually develop — their most intimate and extensive thoughts…Emotional experiences, political ideas, cultural customs, musical idioms, business advice, artwork, photographs, literature, can all be shared and disseminated digitally with less individual investment than ever before in human history."*

I welcome you to this Revolutionary World and look forward to your contribution!

The average person has a hard time grasping just how amazing and powerful the Internet really is. To help you grasp it, please click next.
